Stats tab

This tab allows you to load a HH file to have the players statistic (VPIP, PFR and AF).

 

Use the Open button to load the file.
You can drag and drop it.
Use  >, <, >> and << buttons or the cursor to navgate in the hands of the hand history

Press replayer buttons to open the replayer.

Use >> and << to navigate to next and previous hands. If you check Skip folded hand button then only hand where hero's voluntary put money are considered.

If you check the "show hole cards" box, then opponent hole cards are displayed.

If you check the "Hide player names" it makes the player anonymous.

Use > and < to navigate inside a hand.

If you press the "hero's push equity" button PTB computes the equity if you fold, and if you push (assuming none has bet before you). You can adjust players calling range.

You can press the "Copy hand to clipboard" to save the curent HH content text in the clipboard. This is convenient when you want to paste it to a forum for instance.

The table on the right is an overview of the hands with the number of BB Won. Double click on a hand to go to this hand.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Equity tab

This Tab allows you to do equity and bubble factor computation based on the history file loaded in the stats tab.

Use  >, <, >> and << buttons to navgate in the hands of the hand history
Select 1 to n player(s), prize pool at the bottom of the window and press the compute button to compute player(s) equity.

You can manually change the players stacks. 

You also can enter all stacks without loading a hand history.s

To compute the bubble factor between 2 players:

  1. Select "Bubble factor" radio button at the bottom
  2. Select 2 players 
  3. Press the compute button.

Proceed likewise to compute "Win % Required". This indicator is equivalent to bubble factor. It corresponds to the minimum percentage of winning required to call an opponent push. If you chech the Threebet all-in box, it gives you your Win % required in case you are 3-bet.

If you unselect "before blind" then the computation take into account the initial pot (SB+BB+Antes).

If you select 2 players you can transfer chips between both players using the cursor at the bottom.

The B column indicate which player is at the button.

If you select Bubble factor or Win % Required, then if you don't select any player and press Compute button then the whole bubble factor or Win % Required table is shown.

Line of player X contains the bubble factor of player X compare to each other player.

 

 

 

 

Multi-tabling tab

This tab scans the content of the hand history directory during your multi-tabling session. For each HH file one line appear in the table.

To start press the start button at the bottom.

For each line the column indicate:
  1. The tourney Id
  2. The stack size in BB
  3. M indicator
  4. The number of players at the table 
  5. The number of players to player after you.
  6. The tourney status:
    1. Complete + position when it is over. 
    2. Playing if you are currently playing.
    3. Sitting Out
  7. Your equity

The color of the line depends on hero's stack size:

  1. Grey if the tourney is over.
  2. Green line if M>=12
  3. Yellow line if 12>M>=6
  4. Orange line if 6>M>=2
  5. Red line if M<2

If you check the Real Money prize pool then it is assumed that the prize pool correspond to money otherwise it is a percentage of the total prize pool. In the latter case the equity is computed according to the buyin.

If you select hide complete the tourney that are other do not appear in the table.

Press the refresh button to update each line.

Press the clear button to remove all tourneys from the table.

 

Right click on a tournament line to open a contextual menu. It allows you to perform some actions on the selected tournament:

  1. Stats: Load the hand history in the Stats tab.
  2. Equity: Load the last hand in the equity tab.
  3. Open HH: Open the hand history in notepad.
  4. Open Table: Activate the tournament table .
  5. Set prize pool: Set the prize pool to use for equity computation of the selected tournament. Otherwise the default prize pool set in the parameters tab is used.
  6. Set table size: Resize tables.
  7. Save table size: Save the size of the current active table
  8. Set table position: Move the table to one of the registered slot
  9. Save table position: Save the position of the current active table
  10. Refresh: Refresh the selected rows.
  11. Remove: Remove the selected rows.
  12. Preflop Push Equity: Compute the difference between the theorical equity and real equity of each of your preflop push (that involve 2 players including you).  So if the result is positive it means you are lucky. If the prize pools des are set in $ then the result is the amount of money won compare to theorical result. An example is provided below
  13. SelectAll: Select all tourney.

 

 

Besides all that if you press windows key + s you will have a summary of your result in terms of ROI / Money won / Finish position. For this to work well you must set the prize pool to the exact money won in $ (not a percentage). It works only for single table sit and go.

HUD

Poker Tool Box providea HUD that is activated by pressing the start button in the Multi-tabling tab (if the HUD option is checked in the parameters tab).

Each stat appears as follows: Player(Hand number) VPIP PFR AF

To move a player stats clic on it. The stats then follow the mouse (except if you press shift at the same time). When the stats are at a convenient place clic again on it. 

If you right click on a stat a contextual menu appear:
  1. Save layout to save stats positionning.
  2. Hide/Show Hide or show HUD stats.
  3. Clockwise rotate: Perform a clockwise rotation of the stats.
  4. Counter clockwise rotate: Perform a counter clockwise rotation of the stats.

 

Parameters tab

This tab allows you to configure poker tool box options.

The "prizes pool" group deals with tournament prize pool management.

  • To add a new prize pool define each price for each given finished position. Then press the Add button. A popup appears. Enter the name of the new prize pool.
  • To remove a prize pool select it and press remove buttons.
The ICM group deals with ICM optimization parameter.
  • If you check "ICM optimization" then stacks that are closed are considered as equal during computation. This makes the computation faster with minimum accuracy loss. 
  • Use the precision cursor to define how closed must be the stacks to be considered equal. If you set the cursor to 100% only stacks strictly equal will be consider equal (there is then no accuracy loss).  If you set 90% then stacks with a relative difference of 10% will be considered equal. If you set the cursor to 0% all stacks are considered equal. 
  • In any case stacks considered equal are replaced by there average values. Besides the stacks of the players which equity is computed is never modified. 

The"Real Time parameters" tab deals with configuration of the multi-tabling funciton.
  • Directory is used to select the Hand History file directory.
  • Refresh timer defined the periodicity of the table refreshment in the multi-tabling tab.
  • If"Sitting Out Alert" is selected a popup appears to warn you when you are sitting out on  a table.
  • Si "Auto Sit Back" is selected the script will automatically press sitback and timebank button even on hidden window (The table window must not be minimized). This works only for PokerStars.

Be aware that you might experience some display problem on your tables with this function. If it is the case I recommend to disable it.

  • If "Equity" is checked PTB calcul compute your equity in realtime in the multi tabling tab 
  • If "Highlight Active table" is cheked a club icon appears on the right of the line corresponding to the currently active tables.
  • If "HUD" is checked then the VPIP/PFR/AF stats of each players appears on your tables.
  • Ignore tourney older/newer than allows you to filter hand history that are too old or too recent.
  • If Remove tourney inactive since ischecked then tournament that are not modified since n seconds are removed from the table.

Select the room you are playing in theRoom group

Save parameters by pressing Save button.

Reset the parameters by pressing Reset button.

 

If you clic on "Define hotkeys..." the window shown on the right appears. You can use to to define keyboard shortcuts. It contains 2 Tab.

General TAB:

"Active Table Hotkeys" applies to the active table:

  1. Open HH: Open the hand history with notepad 
  2. Refresh: Refresh the corresponding entry in the multi tabling tab.
  3. Stats: Load the stats in the stats tab.
  4. Hero's equity: Compute your equity
  5. Hero's WPR: Compute your Win % Required
  6. Hero's 3-Bet WPR: Compute your Win % Required in case of a 3-bet.
  7. Hand of interest: Request to save the current hand in a file named PTBHandOfInterestTN.ini with TN= Tourney number
  8. Sit back all: Press the sitback and timebank button of any tables

"PTB navigation" hotkeys allows you to navigate in the PTB tabs.

"HUD" hotkeys deals with HUD:

  1. Show/Hide HUD: How/hide the stats on the active table. 
  2. CW Rotate: Makes a clockwise rotation of the stats.
  3. CCW Rotate: Makes a counter sclockwise rotation of the stats.

Table layout TAB
